Bell pepper smoothie // Rød pebersmoothie (fedtfri)



ENGLISH RECIPE:


3 cups // work time: 10 minutes


Ingredients:

2 cups strawberries (250 g)

½ red bell pepper (capsicum)

1 banana

3 Medjool dates

Juice of 2 oranges, (1 cup)


Method:

Place the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.


You might be thinking 'bell pepper? in a smoothie? and it's good??' and I get what you're saying. That what my exact thoughts when my mother suggested her idea for a recipe for our simple smoothie eBook. But here's the thing, bell pepper along with orange just works! I have no idea how or why but this is such a good smoothie I ate it everyday for weeks afterwards and I still love to make it from time to time.





DANSK OPSKRIFT:


750 ml // Arbejdstid: 10 minutter


Ingredienser:

250 g jordbær

½ rød peber

1 banan

3 Medjool dadler

Saften af 2 appelsiner, ca. 2 ½ dl


Metode:

Kom ingredienserne i en blender og blend til smoothien er glat og cremet.

Rød peber lyder måske ikke særligt lokkende i en smoothie men i kombinationen med appelsin og jordbær er den altså forrygende. Opskriften er fra e-bogen "Simple smoothies - spis regnbuens farver" og der i flere overraskende smagsoplevelser - måske en citronfromage smoothie kunne friste eller æblegrøds smoothie.
